Kate Mitchell is a NYC artist and technology worker. Her acrylic paintings and mixed media drawings are rooted in play, and seeded with a range of contemporary symbols inspired by experiments with generative AI. Pitting representation against abstraction, Kate works to moderate meaning with the aim of making paintings that reflect a philosophy of an evolving contemporary existence.
